I have learned that it’s not the rewards that I’m most grateful for but it’s for every opposition that I was met with and He’s allowed me to get to this place. For if it hadn’t been for each one of them, I wouldn’t have made it to this point. The opposition empowered me to fight on. I join with Paul in saying:
I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. Phillipians 3:14
It’s times like these that I look back at the journey and I have no other choice but to give Him praise. Why, because this journey came with much sunshine and rain. The sunshine was new friendships, milestones and victories. The rain as we know it, for me it was sickness. But bless be unto God that promised us favor with Him and man. He gave me favor with my instructors. He “caused men to bless me!” He did it, yes He did! My family OMG is all I can say. God gave me the best husband in the world! My children especially my baby girl! She had so much patience with her momma! She’s my grammatically correct daughter. I’m just beginning! I’m fulfilling “purpose!” In the words of the saints of ole, “I feel like going on! Each day is a dance for me and my partner (the word), it’s just Him and I! He’s such a good partner one that I don’t mine Him leading always! My daddy Jesus, He’s the best! I bare witness of The word, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Because The Word has come alive in me I don’t believe there’s anything that I cannot do. At fifty years old I have a dual degree: Master of Arts in Human Resource Development and Human Resource Management. To God be the glory for the great things He has done!
