May I have this dance?
He has transformed my life and has caused me to dance! Each day I will dance. I dance when I am happy and in calamity. My circumstances do not determine whether I dance, but it determines my dance. I have been disciplined from being stepped on, twirled over, bent over, and reached over. I have had to tiptoe my way through fields of uncertainties (not knowing how I would land), but my uncertainties have taught me much strength and poise. Some days, more than I like, I’m clogging in a dance of triumph. As herds of animals send a sound before attack, I use each part of my body, especially my feet, as I dance with all my might tearing down strongholds that's try to rob me of my freedom. I even dabble in belly dancing as a way of stirring up my river of living water to remind me of the greater one that lives within me.
I am inspired to start this blog after many life challenges. Most importantly, two new births that have caused me much travailing. My life bears witness of John 16:21, “A woman has pain when giving birth because her time has come. But when the child is born, she no longer remembers the intense suffering because she is so happy over the child being born into the world.” One of the births is my weight lost journey. I come in agreement with Paul, “throw off everything that hinders and the sin that easily entangles us and let us run with endurance the race that was set before us," Secondly, a divine impartation that has caused me to exclaim, “I can see clearer now.” Like Paul and Timothy, I have been mentored according to 2 Timothy 2:2, “the things which one has heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others as well.” Because of much sharpening and teaching chains have fallen, and shackles have been loose.
I dance now being lighter on my feet and richer in The Word of God. He has turned my mourning into dancing. There is no more sackcloth, but I am wrapped in cheerfulness, therefore I dance!
It is God’s will that we all prosper and be in good health, even as our soul prospers. With God’s help this blog will bring The Word to life. I have submitted my will unto His, so that my life will bear witness of His mighty power, as I open my life as a testament of His power and fulfillment of His promises. I pray less people will walk in doubt or disbelief of His promises, and all will come into a greater knowledge of His Word as it unfolds.
